Audi is working on a facelift for S5

Through spy photographs taken in the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, has been known that Audi is working on an update to at least its aesthetic S5, because this version has been photographed at the German circuit. However, the cosmetic differences are not expected signifitivas too, with the rear lights the elements that so far account for the aesthetic innovations of this update.
However, there are rumors that this update will include more new Audi S5 that small cosmetic changes, may affect the vehicle's engine. If confirmed, the Audi S5 lose its current gasoline V8 engine of 4,200 cc and 354CV power in favor of 3-liter V6 engine with a volumetric compressor supercharging and turbocharging, and develops 333CV cars like the Audi S4.

Keeping the heat output, the main reason for this change could be in fuel consumption. If we compare the consumption of the Audi S4 and S5, and although there 21CV power in favor of the latter, the S4 has an average consumption of 9.7 liters per 100 kilometers, while the S5 needs 12, 1 liter of media. Something very similar happens to emissions, with 225 grams for the S4 and S5 for the current 288.
The date on which the S5 will update the market has not yet been unveiled by Audi, but it looks like it will be in 2012 when we begin to see on our roads.
