Bugatti has announced the availability of the Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport in India, its price will be increased very substantially because of taxes 110% to be applied on the value of the car and it will cost 160 million rupees, or what is the same as 2,581,000 euros. Those who want a Veyron in India, besides the money will have to be patient, because since the order is final until it is delivered the car may take six to eight months.
Now it seems that Ferrari wants to follow in the footsteps of the California Bugatti marketing there, which although it would apply the same taxes as the Bugatti will be considerably cheaper. Brands such as Rolls-Royce, Jaguar and Land Rover sold in India with good results, is that although it may not seem so in India there are many rich and very rich (though unfortunately there are more poor than rich, so hopefully taxes of the Veyron to count for something ...)
